Georgie Feature & Giveaway
By: Hashti Kashfia | June 29, 2011 "[The St. Bart's Pant's fabric] is an AMAZING quality that is a little thicker than the metallic pair. I can see them lasting for YEARS and every time I've worn them someone has complimented me on them! And you have to love that...When I saw a white jacket from Georgie I couldn't wait to try it. Up to now every white blazer failed to give me the texture/weight/and quality I wanted–for under $1K. A white blazer has to fit just right, and can't pull or have cheap fabric. The thing that sets this blazer apart is that the "waffle" texture of the fabric hides every little imperfection and lays on the body in a perfect manner. It also has a great stretch that you'd never guess was there! Once again the quality of Georgie really stood out. Definitely a jacket that will compliment every body type." READ MORE

Interview with Georgie's Brianna Fordham
"Here's a little background on the company: GEORGIE was started by Kamea Bitton and is Co-Owned by Bitton and her husband, Eran. The company started out as a pants line, but has continued to grow in popularity and in products. "Trissta: [ON THE IKAT PANTS] Why is it important for GEORGIE to use such amazing fabric and put such an emphasis on the production of it? " Brianna Fordham: We're excited to offer many of our pieces in our Handloom fabric and our customers are also very eager about this venture. We noticed a trend in ikats and other tribal inspirations and really wanted to present it to our customers. The fabric is great for every day and looks even better with age, it creates a natural soft feeling. The collection is inspired from various things changing from season to season. We have an extremely talented small design team that is young and knows the current trends and what the customers want. " READ MORE
